Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is important before you start looking for a home because you will find out exactly what you can afford and you'll need a pre-approval letter if you're making an offer on a house.
The fun part! What are your must-haves and what are your deal breakers? I have noticed that buyers sometimes change their priorities when looking at houses, so keep an open mind!
This is when having Susan on your side really helps. We work together to present the strongest and best offer for the property. Every seller has different priorities, whether it's the price, the timeline or the contingencies.
Once the offer is accepted we have a short window to complete an inspection of the home. If safety, health issues or systems requiring repair come up in the inspection I will negotiate on your behalf.

Have your home inspected before you list so there are no surprises after an offer is accepted. This helps with negotiating as well as helping you to prepare your property disclosures. Buyers also like to see a list of all improvements and upgrades.
Make your home show-ready by eliminating clutter and rearranging furniture if needed. Provide both virtual and in-person showings using COVID safety protocols. Make your home as accessible as possible to interested buyers.
Incorrect pricing is the number one reason a home does not sell. Your Realtor should have a pricing plan explained to you before you list. Once you have an offer (or offers) your Realtor should help you to pick the offer with the BEST TERMS. It's not always the highest price that will be the best offer.
